From the Artist: I was approached with an interesting request for a flight-themed clock by a woman whose brother had survived a plane crash. Equipment failure caused a problem during flight and the brilliant maneuvering of the pilot prevented any fatalities. The woman wanted to present the pilot with a permanent reminder of his act of skill and bravery. My other flying clocks were too big-this is the scaled-down version.
Materials:
Walnut and maple woods, stainless steel rods, Seiko quartz clock.
